Samhain Women's Circle | November 1st 2025

$85.00

Samhain marks the end of the harvest and the start of the dark season. In this circle, we will tie together themes of Halloween, Day of the Dead, All Saints Day, and Samhain, acknowledging the importance of remembering those who are no longer with us, and the ways their spirits have changed us. It’s a time to face what has run its course, honor those who came before us, and prepare the ground for what comes next.

Date: November 1st, 2025
Time: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: A garden in El Sobrante CA (location shared after sign up)

On this night, we gather as women to honor the turning of the Wheel through Earth based ritual, reflection, and shared presence. Together we’ll:

✨ Call in our ancestors and honor the lineages that brought us here
✨ Compost what is ready to be released into fertile ground for future growth
✨ Share stories and wisdom, weaving our grief with gratitude
✨ Plant seeds of intention for the year ahead, in the fertile dark of the season
✨ Nourish ourselves with all that the garden has to offer

This is not a performance or a costume party—it’s a circle. A chance to sit shoulder to shoulder, to speak what is heavy, to laugh when laughter bubbles up, to feel the weight of the year and the promise of another.

We’ll also be joined by Maggie, the compost queen of the Velveteen Bean, who will guide us through a hands-on composting practice created especially for this circle. Together we’ll use the act of composting as a way to honor our dead, our losses, and the pieces of ourselves we’re ready to let go of. Just as the garden alchemizes scraps into soil, we’ll use this practice to consider how endings feed beginnings.

Bring your whole self. Bring your stories. Bring an offering for the altar: a photo, a sprig of rosemary, a stone, a piece of bread, a name written on paper. Together we’ll make a place for the unseen and for each other.
