PRACTICAL GARDEN MAGICK

Magick is the art of working in conscious relationship with the seen and unseen forces that shape our lives: the Earth, the seasons, plants, Spirit, ancestors, intuition, desire, and our own capacity to act.

When you can feel the energy moving beneath the surface and actively choose to participate in the changes you want to make in your garden, your body, your home, and your life, you are engaging in magick.

The Autumn Equinox, sometimes called the Witches’ Thanksgiving, is a potent time for this work. It marks the turning point between summer and fall, when day and night are almost equal and we start moving into the darker half of the year. But the garden is still showing off wiith fruit ripening, plants seeding, and summer crops giving us their last big push.

This is a time for celebrating abundance and delighting in the fact that we are part of such a lush, horny, endlessly inventive planet. It’s also a season of change. We watch things we loved and tended all summer start to fade, yellow, and die back. Even when we know it’s part of the cycle, change can be uncomfortable.

And the changes we’re facing aren’t only seasonal. We are living through intense cultural, economic, political, and structural upheaval, alongside whatever is shifting in our own homes and bodies. Practical Garden Magick is a place to bring the truth of what you’re facing, personally and collectively, to learn with other women, and to deepen the skills and relationships that can help hold us through whatever comes next.

This three-part virtual immersion combines fall gardening, deep seasonal journeywork, and shared ritual space. You’ll learn what your garden needs as it moves into fall and winter, while using the wisdom of the season to tend your mind, body, and spirit.

Growing food, learning the rhythms of your place, and building relationship with the more-than-human world are practical forms of resilience. They’re also fun! So is gathering with other women to swap knowledge, reorient towards hope, share what’s alive for us, and remember that care, beauty, pleasure, and community are necessary parts of not only how we make it through, but how we build the culture of the new world.

Fall Gardening Workshop + Live Q&A

• Learn what to plant and tend through fall and winter in mild climates, how to give your 2027 garden a head start, and how to protect what you grow—with live Q&A for your specific garden questions.

Gathering Garden Circle

Tuesday, October 6 · 11:00 AM–12:30 PM

• A facilitated space to come home to yourself and experience the collective medicine of gathering in circle. You’ll be invited into reflection and connection, with the option to share what’s alive for you—never a requirement.

• Practice seasonal living as a way to reclaim your time, energy, and attention from the demand to always be producing.

• Grow and tend a fall garden using practical, ecologically grounded methods.

• Follow the Wheel of the Year as a seasonal gardening guide and a map for your own growth.

• Create simple rituals rooted in real garden work

• Build a personal Garden Grimoire

• Tend your Garden Within through grounding, meditation, guided journeys, and seasonal reflection.

• Find support in coven through shared practice, honest conversation, collective wisdom, and celebration.
